The Account Of Saul : Deepfakes

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20. The people of God are directed to the Scriptures as their safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness. Satan employs every possible device to prevent men from obtaining a knowledge of the Bible; for its plain utterances reveal his deceptions. At every revival of God's work the prince of evil is aroused to more intense activity; he is now putting forth his utmost efforts for a final struggle against Christ and His followers. The last great delusion is soon to open before us. Antichrist is to perform his marvelous works in our sight. So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested." (GC 593.1)

Last summer, I got a call from my uncle. On campus, I picked up the call, alarmed by the tone of his voice"Alana where are you, are you safe?" Puzzled I replied, "Yes I am okay. I am currently at work. Is everything alright?". He says "Yes. Your Grandmother called me, scared about your safety. Someone used your voice, stating that you were kidnapped and that money needed to be paid in order to get you back. Just stay safe on campus." At first, I scuffed at this. How could someone use MY voice? My passwords are hard to access, and my phone was not acting up days before. So HOW?

Weird enough, I am not alone. Many Celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson, Taylor Swift, and so many more! Here is a small video about what recently happened to Oprah. I remember seeing this ad!

Before coming to understand this ad is a scam, it seems as though many would have not even thought for another second to check other sources to ensure what they were buying would not jeopardize their bank account. In Revelation 12:15 it states "And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood." As much as we may think times are alright for most of us, we are lying to ourselves. The Devil, a long time foe, has learned much. He knows the best tactics to get many to fall, yea, even the very elect if possible! Notice how the verse it states "as a flood after the woman" When you think of a flood, it does not stop. It keeps coming. It rushes in without asking, and destroys everything in its path. In the same light, the Devil continues to destroy everything to get to us. He tries to destroy our families, our friendships, our academic ability, and even our spiritual lives! Once he is able to destroy, the flood can finally take over and swamp out any chance of coming up for air.

This is exactly what happened to Saul. Today we will look at 1 Samuel 28. At this time, the Philistines were coming to fight Israel. Saul wanted to stay on the throne despite David being the clear King. God had left him. Why? When reading 1 Samuel 15, Saul was given a commandment by God to "consume"(1 Sam 15:18) the Amalekites. Instead, Saul did not choose to destroy EVERYTHING. The "sheep and oxen"(1 Sam 15:21) that was in the land of the Amalekites were taken by the people of Israel as a sacrifice to God. Saul could have easily said not to do so and destroy the sheep and oxen, but decided to listen to the mouths of men rather than God. Thus, the kingdom of Israel was "rent" from Saul, of which he still could not let go, even whilst he was going after David, the "better" than him (1 Sam 28:28). Back to the war at hand with the Philistines, Saul decides to plead to God, asking Him what to do.

But all he could hear are crickets. God did not answer him.

So what was his decision? He chose to meet "a woman who had a familiar spirit at Ednor." It seems contradictory to seek out the very individuals he had previously banned from Israel, yet he intended to visit one? Saul went to meet someone described as having "familiar spirits and wizards" (1 Samuel 28:3). This individual would be a counterfeit, as she was not a prophet nor did she serve the true God. Saul was aware of this. Why else would he have changed his attire and met the woman at night? (1 Samuel 28:8) At this point, Saul approaches the woman in disguise. The woman remains unaware of this until Samuel is "brought up" (1 Samuel 28:11), which then brings her to shame. What's particularly interesting here is how the devil operates in this scenario. Saul calls upon Samuel. The devil could have summoned any other person with that name, but he brought forth Samuel the prophet. The devil knew that if Samuel could be summoned, the deceptive flood would be successful. There would be no way to distinguish one from the other. Fooling himself, Saul once again fell into evil, doing so because God had not listened to him.

The same lesson could be applied to us today. How?

Deepfakes are described as "... a video, photo, or audio recording that seems real but has been manipulated with AI. The underlying technology can replace faces, manipulate facial expressions, synthesize faces, and synthesize speech. Deepfakes can depict someone appearing to say or do something that they in fact never said or did.(www.gao.gov)" So one day you'd see a celebrity advertising a special pill that helps with weight loss, when in fact, this was never recorded in a studio, and was never supported by the very celebrity talking to you on the screen! What a shocker. And the thing is that with these things, you can not decipher until its been said that it was a scam. Their mouths are moving in perfect cadence, and their movements of their body and face give no alarm to the person that is watching. But why this deception now?

I've heard that some argue a conspiracy ceases to be a conspiracy when supported by facts. Looking at the Covid-19 pandemic, how was the vaccine promoted? Who were the FIRST individuals in America to receive and publicize the shots to the world? Celebrities. They were among the initial recipients. Interestingly, they were also among the earliest to express concerns about the pandemic and advocate for safety measures like staying home. So, it's clear to me, and not a conspiracy, that the devil can manipulate anyone to serve his purposes. Whats my point? The word is Hegelian dialectic. According to a book entitled "Black List" by Brad Thor, it is"a psychological tool used to manipulate the masses. In this case, you create a problem, wait for the reaction, and then offer the solution. What people historically fail to realize, though, is that those offering the solution are the same people who caused the problem in the first place. They also fail to realize that no matter what the solution is, it always ends up providing its creators with more power.”a powerful book amongst others like 1984 by George Orwell, it speaks to the days we are living in. With the rolling out of celebrities who complain and advertise an assortment of ideas and misconceptions that are given by the government (aka the devil working behind the scenes in disguise), the deception has been rolled out and citizens (those not aware of the deception) are hurt and (without the help of Christ) eventually drown, lost in the deception. As said by Prophesy Again TV , it seems as though once this issue of Deepfakes have reached an all time high with hitting celebrities, the government will say "here is the solution", celebrities will advertise the solution, and all will be lost. And what shall be the solution friends?

A loss of the liberty of conscience. A loss of the liberty to speak freely. A loss of the very things the United States of America was founded upon.

Why? Project 2025 plays a part of this friends. As you read Part two of Project 2025—which will be released very soon—you'll see how this is all truly linked to the National Sunday Law. They want to take away your freedom to prophesy, they want to make sure you are lost. And by they I do not only mean the Pope and the government as described as the two horned lamb like beat in Revelation 13. I am speaking of the Devil and his angelic companions, because at the end of the day, it is not flesh we are fighting, but the very foe that has been here since the very beginning.

But Alana, how does this relate to Saul's story ?

In 2014, Elon Musk attended MIT, where a person had asked him about the potential damage AI could have on the world. Here is what he said :

"we are summoning the demon" is what Musk said. Do people still not believe in Demons today after seeing this? Once AI has blown out of proportion, there will come a time for regulation to sweep in. Friends, when are we going to realize that it is not a mere coincidence that these things occur? Look at Covid-19, look at the roll out of the vaccine, look at how much the word 'disinformation' was said against those that were noted as conspiracy theorist saying that the vaccine would come out and to NOT take it! Now several years later, those conspiracy theorist were proven correct. Thousands have died suddenly on football fields, homes, and even at work! This is no coincidence at all.

07 1 Samuel 28 - The Witch of Endor - Creazilla

Saul summoned a demon as well. "Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel." (1 Samuel 28:11) Saul played in the Devil's playground. He enticed the Devil, and soon enough he got what he was looking for : Deception. He messed around with a demon who, unbeknownst to him told him the truth to make it seem as though he was talking to Samuel! :

"And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day. Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines."

However, what we should note here is that Saul was already given to the control of the devil. The lesson we learn here is that once we mess with the devil, and God's patience has run out (as it did at some point with Saul), we will be left to the Devil's playful subjection. However let me emphasize here the idea of choice here. Once you decide to continually do away with the Lord, his law, and his directions, that reprobate mind stated in Romans 1:28 will be the result. However, being the devil's slave, does not mean he will show pity as God would have. The Devil, once you are in his playground does not welcome you. He will use you for his own selfish purpose, without any regard for your wellbeing. You may have pleasure in his playground, but just around the corner is dismay always. That is why at the end of the chapter, Saul never gets the answer he wanted to hear. Once more he disobeyed God not just by going after a woman of witchcraft, but also speaking to demons in the likeness of a sleeping Samuel in the grave. He was so well deceived by what he saw, he could not say it was not real.

Deepfakes are the very same thing. There will soon come a time where, as Jesus said in Matthew 24, many will come in HIS name blaspheming to be him. And of course we do not know what he looks like, so wouldn't Deepfakes work in this regard? If Saul was unable to tell one from the other when he saw Samuel reincarnated, how will we discern the truth? Isaiah 8:20 advises, "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." But how do we know the law and the testimony? By studying God's word. Through scripture, we gain discernment in these uncertain times. God grants us the insight to recognize His light in others. However, like Saul, if we stray from His Word, our discernment will falter.
